Chapter 6: Of the Fall of Man, of Sin, and of the Punishment Thereof

From this original corruption, whereby we are utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite to all good,¹ and wholly inclined to all evil,² do proceed all actual transgressions.³

Romans 5:6

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 8:7

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.

Genesis 6:5

James 1:14-15
