Q 184. For what things are we to pray?

A. We are to pray for all things tending to the glory of God,¹ the welfare of the church,² our own³ or others’ good;⁴ but not for anything that is unlawful.⁵

Matthew 6:9

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
